We create visuals to showcase each client’s super power: their personality! Through the combination of design and illustration I highlight brand values, attract the right customers and make marketing simple.
Who We Are:
Flo. Studios is a creative studio that was founded in early 2019 that offers Design and Illustration services.
We are unique in our incorporation of illustration into all of our design projects. We believe that design and illustration go hand-in-hand when it comes to delivering a unique and personal approach. Our founder, Cathryn John, is an award winning designer and critically acclaimed illustrator. Cathryn works directly on, or oversees each project that comes through the door. This means that each client receives the utmost in quality service and results.
Who You Are:
Our ideal client values their time and knows when to hire a professional. They are excited about whatever their project may be and are able to supply us with the information we need to help them succeed. We love our clients! They are responsive and respectful in their communication and love to collaborate. When they succeed, we succeed.

Cathryn John
Owner, Art Director
An Emily Carr Alumna, Cathryn John is an award winning designer and nationally recognized illustrator. She’s a creative self-starter with a drive to make the world a better place, one project at a time. Her experience in the creative industry is varied which allows her to tackle projects from an informed perspective. She’s passionate about human rights, social justice and protecting the environment.
Cathryn started Flo. Studios because she wants to help people tell their story and attract their ideal clients. She uses a combination of graphic design and illustration to showcase each project’s personality in a way that resonates with the target market.
Cathryn's ideal day would include a hike out in nature followed by great food on a local patio.
Rady Panov
Graphic Designer, Photographer, Videographer
With an eye for creative design, Rady brings his own unique style to each project. With over 10 years of experience working in the creative arts, he is constantly working on surpassing client expectations. In his eyes, any task is achievable and there is no limit to the imagination.
As a Capilano University Alumni, Rady's extensive knowledge is handy when it comes to understanding the business side of projects and focusing design work on a specific target market.
Rady is a graphic designer (and sometimes close-up magician) who will be sure to go the extra mile for your project!

Hi, I'm Jess and I'm an illustrator, painter and animator in Vancouver BC!
Over the last 6 years I have worked on a wide variety of projects including, animated music videos, editorial illustrations, murals and a ton of paintings.
My work is inspired by mythology and folklore, science fiction, nature and music. I am also a very eclectic person so my inspirations tend to change on a regular basis but that’s exactly how I like it. I approach my creative practice like I am going on an adventure. My aim is to experiment, have fun and challenge myself. It's important for me to translate that approach to all my client projects!
